I went yesterday and looked at a silver 2004 SRT 10 with 120 miles on it that has never been titled here in hawaii....

The car has been sitting at the dealership since mid 2004...

They had the car marked up to 90 grand and told me that if I bought it I could get it for msrp and not worry about the mark up...

I didnt drive my C5 ( that Im planning on trading) there that day..But they want me to go back with it and start wheeling and dealing..

But at 80 grand for a 04 I said screw it....Then the sales man called my cell today and said that they really need to get rid of it and will sell for much less than 80 grand..


WHATS A FAIR PRICE FOR THIS CAR...AND WHAT DID THE DEALER PAY FOR IT TWO YEARS AGO???

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?

You can get a 05 new for $65k here in the states. I wouldn't pay over $55k.

Tornado, I bought an untitled '04 in August of '05 with 75 miles on it for $68k. That's about $8k UNDER dealer invoice and almost a year ago. That car is a rock around their neck. The price needs to be in the 50s.

Holy crap...I thought you guys were gonna say 70 grand ( wich since Im unemployed till January would be a stretch)

But if I can get this car for 55 grand Ill go buy it now...
