I took the seats to an automotive upholstery shop and have them replace the middle trim of the seat with red. I also have them do the arm rest.

I didn't do the shifter and the e-brake cover because that may be too much red.

I like it. looks really nice in person.

My friend has an S2000 that has red inserts a bit like those. It looks pretty good but, it would just be funny as hell to me if Dodge copied the interior of the S2k as well

Looks very nice. I would recommend that you get the Viper to either be red, or the stichings red. We have also done red stiches for the shifter and E-brake boots. Very subtle and easily done.

I'm not saying that the S2000 was the first car to have two toned interiors. I just found it funny that after releasing a car that looks very much like an S2000, someone brought up that they liked an interior that is very similar to one of the S2k interiors.

I changed the stichings on the shifter boot to red like you suggested. Will post pictures later I think it improves the look.

How big a deal is it to change the stiching on the boot? I have a blue car and I think it would be a nice accent in blue.

Not too bad.

Get the stitching thread you need at an art supply store (I went to Michaels) and a needle with eye big enough to accomodate the thread.

Then just follow the existing holes in the boot.
