I'm a straight up Viper fan, I think it's the best car ever, but I even think your delusional, face it, when it comes down to a stock car vs. stock car, the Z06 has the Viper licked. every one knows that, but when the cars are modded the Viper comes out on top, until DC increases stock power and lowered weight, it's going to be that way, the potentials there, there just not meeting it, plus I don't think DC gives a shit about what we think on this site
I REALLY agree with your final opinion about DC and SRT and I know the Z06 has the stock Viper licked for now but I was trying to just mention that two concepts are on the board. BTW, you can't beat factory option stripes.

Question 1: Wouldn't you think it would be a better car if it was a go?
Question 2: Is the convertible GT a concept or a go as well?
1. Of course, I think the Carbon is what SRT should have done from the start. With the carbon, they showed us that the engine is capable of making big power, and its about time they put that power into a production Viper.
2. From what I know, the GT convertible will not be produced. As we know the GT is done with production later this year, but Ford will send out your GT to some company and they will have the conversion done for you.
Just more excuses from someone that can't believe that a corvette has actually surpassed the viper.
