Bell makes qaulity cores. The best thing is that they will sell them in virtually any size needed.

Bell or PTE do not make the I/C cores, there are only 4 or 5 manufacturers of I/C core in the US. Most do not sell retail. Precision sells Garrett cores made in Mexico, the Bell cores are API cores. Let me know what size you are looking for and I can provide you with a good core. Make sure the core is vacuum brazed or you will have trouble TIG welding tanks on.

Don't get caught up in I/C HP ratings. You cannot rate a core by HP. These guys are assuming a 1psi loss at the required flow rate to produce a given HP level. It is much more complex then that, The type and size of turbos are you using will also have a very large impact on the heat generated. Provide some more details on the FI setup you plan on using, and I can help you select an I/C. Note that it is great to have a thick core, however you get diminishing returns as you start to go beyond 3.5". This is mainly due to the high air side pressure drop of the core that will cause poor air flow through the core. When a core is tested it is in a windtunnel with a baffel plate that has an openning that same size as the frontal area of the core, so there is no other place for the air to go except through the cooler. In the vehicle, the air has many different flow paths including recirc. I hope this helps.
