I purchased my 03 for 56k.. The car is perfect and had only 1200 miles when It was bought.. I am in good shape as long as I keep the miles down.. Purchase date was Feb. 1 ..
I go to every dodge factory auction in chicago and watch most of the others throughout the country on simulcast. I have yet to see an SRT under 50. The only 50g car I saw was an 03 with 20k miles. It was a Dodge test vehicle that was roached. These cars are not under 50 at auction. Even cars with disclosures that Dodge bought back under lemon law have not sold under 50.

And you are quoting some random add in Autotrader. Know absolutely nothing about the car. You are trying to put a market value on a car based upon the car that came up at the end of your search that had the lowest price. I think that you can buy an SRT for mid 50's if you find the right scenario, BUT to say that everyone is taking 50 for their cars is fucking rediculous.
i believe he painted the calipers on that 03 the same time they did the front bumper. i sent them a kind email esplaining how to put the top down. last i checked i was the high bidder on that pig.
a month or two ago, i saw a completely roached 03, dodge test vehicle with 22 on the clock sell for 50 even at a closed dodge factory sale. if the front bumper and the calipers are the only items painted on this car it is a good deal for someone looking to get into an srt for short money. i was just bidding because i am a complete loser and have no life whatsoever.
In case nobody was paying attention, but the silver SRT that was posted in this thread earlier went for $49,900. The value of these cars are dropping like rocks.

Exactly. You will not buy a clean SRT with no stories for 50 grand. I have been around cars for a very long time, and I have never seen so many dipshits claiming to have known someone who paid 40 grand for one. Pretty fucking stupid, and definitely isn't worthy of having 500 threads about it.
