Side Exhaust on Gen II GTS a cool install

Just curious about putting the side exhaust on a 2002 GTS. I am sure it is much louder in the cockpit, but for a gear head....is it too much? What I mean, is can you still hear the radio and enjoy it. Or is the sole tune you can listen to is the V10. Don't get me wrong, if I am thinking about side exhaust, I do like hearing it...

Problem is I have not seen a GTS around here in the DFW area with one. Which is probably telling me something ?

And if I did the side exhaust, I image I only need to swap out the side sill and use the ol ironman 210 welder to tack a few pipes together.

i saw one up at tators a few months back and really liked it. i remember chuck saying it was louder.

I had side exhaust on my 98 gts with b and b headers, no cats and borlas. It was cool and novel but the frikkin drone killed my left ear. I was happy to switch back and the car was much more enjoyable with the pipe out the ass.
