You bought a Viper for chrome roll hoops? Seriously though, everyone has their oppinion, and I don't think that they look bad, but you are wrapping plastic with thin chromed alluminum. You can bend them with your fingers. Go get you an autoform bar, have them chrome the top, and save your skull.

The autoform painted rollbar will set you back around 1900 sheckels, but it serves a purpose. the chrome hoops, that look like fucking george michaels earings will cost you 600 bucks and serve absolutely no purpose. Spend the extra 1300 bucks to save your noggin.
Or you can buy this crap.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...QQcmdZViewItem
The issue with getting bars chromed in our area is only one has a tank large enough. They are charging us $1000 just for the process. Depending what part of the country you are in their may be another option. Some places will have a higher concentration of chromers, that may do this cheaper. We are more than happy to send you a bar in raw steel to have this done. You do save a little off the cost from us if you don't have it powdercoated. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.

Thanks for the info . I didn't know they were chromed lightweight plastic. I have no interest in those and am leaning towards the autoform being chromed. I live near St Louis and I think there is a plating place that might be able to accomodate something that large.
I believe startech stopped selling those in the US. They were the best looking of the bunch but a waste of money. If you are going to spend the money get a rollbar that can save yur noggin.
