Well we did the best we could with our 577 SRT Coupe. one or both of our copper head gaskets failed today at VIR on the 3rd race of the day. so we lost coolant and the motor got hot and we had to shut it down.
so we are out of the 2006 One Lap. it was a lot of fun and a great way to learn about a brand new engine package.
many thanks to Brian Smith, Nick Arevalo and so many others who helped us this year.
Better luck next year. What I like is that you were out testing this package before offering it to the consumer, so now you will go back and improve it and then when its more refined the rest of us lemmings can have at it

BIG BREEZE,HATS OFF TO GETTING IN THE GAME TO BEGIN WITH!THERES NO QUESTION IN MY MIND THAT U WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR AND FINISH IN FIRST PLACE.ITS BETTER TO TRY THEN NOT TRY AT ALL!
Dang, you guys were up there battling. Tough pill to swallow after a 1000 mile and 700 mile overnight transits. I feel your pain after completing 6 days of the 2003 event and having the power steering mounting bracket explode dropping us from 6th overall.
With a 4.25 or 4.35 sleve there will not be enough material between cylinders to seal, head gastkest will blow and/or sleves will fail due to having to machine flats adjacent to cylinders. .110" between cylinders is down right scary.
