that's probably a smart business move and saves them a good $7000 each month. tuner X has a shop full of cars and a growing "reputation". so that should be all the advertising they need.....

For those of you that don't know this, three years ago that kit was a proto-type. Because of the improvements of RSI's kit, they chose to scrap the entire used kit, and install a new one for me...at no additional cost. That's what I call customer service. When I picked up my car this week, there were several cars in process and most were repeat business due to upgrades or they were cars from two of the other "major" tuners. For what it's worth, I don't think this thread will cost RSI any business...especially when you consider the motivation of the source. Thank you Gerald, Jason and the rest of the RSI team.

Hi Kelly hope everything works out well for you ,but my kit was only 2 years old and i was never told it was a prototype in fact i was told they had others on the road running fine.Im glad they gave you a free updated kit i wish mine would have came out of rsi running right on one of the three trips to houston from ca .Instead i had to pay tuner H to remove that smokeing pile of shit from my car and pay for another complete kit along with engine work to get my car running right.I get to meet alot of te members here and from some of the other boards sometimes when i help GaryA move a few cars around the country and i do my best to let anone who wants to know what happened to me and my car at rsi know first hand what a fucked up deal i got.You saw the pictures posted here and you still think these guys might run an honest shop?Love to share any info any potenial customers of this sad excuse for a shop would like to know to aid with any decisons on choseing a tuner.
