Rich decided to drive up for a visit this weekend. I thought it would be cool to get a little footage of his new beast in action, so we took the car to one of my favorite “test” areas. Check out the video. LOW RES VIDEO... HIGH RES VIDEO...
Rich’s car is a beast for sure! I was very impressed with the power delivery of the car. The hit of power from a supercharged car is almost violent compared to what I have been used to. The noise is indescribable. As soon as the throttle opens up, this thing turns into an animal! It is by far the loudest car I have ever ridden in, ever! I mean, we are talking scare the wildlife out of the forest loud. Rich’s car runs strong and smooth, without skipping a beat.
Hats off to you, Rich, for building a beast of a car and knowing how to drive it. Doug did a great job on the build. I can’t wait for us to get that thing to the track. I know it has a good number in it. I will get down to Florida soon my friend.
The soundtrack in that video is great. The 3rd pass with you outside the car sounded awesome. I had to hit my brakes on that run much quicker because we had some nature lovers emerging from the woods with there camera in hand. Not much wildlife left after that run. Gary thanks for a great weekend and I can't wait till you come up here in a few weeks.
That is AWESOME! I know you did the bottom end on your car - did you do any exhaust mods (headers, etc.)? Looks, sounds, and runs incredible. Congrats to Rick and thanks for the video Gary!

Gerald thanks for introducing me to what a finely tuned S/C car can do. It was a ride in your beast that convinced me to go to DLM. Then your next best tip to me was to go with the Kumhos so I could hook up on the street. Dam they hook up excellent.

What's better than getting your car back in under 2 months with a COMPLETE engine rebuild to forged. Driving it back 400 miles to your home, then next weekend driving it another 600 or 700 miles round trip.. All with nearly 900rwhp !? ( Just using that number with the cold air.. yes Cold air in Florida is a rarity and we take it in any chance we can get it... LOL!! )
Kumho's are the shit man. What's the point of having the HP if someone with less gets to the finish line faster who doesn't spin? If ANYONE hasn't tried Kuhmos, please give them a try! They corner better than excellent, they grip better than better than excellent and the wet pavement traction is far superior than anything I've ever driven. They need to come out with 19's and 20's..
