You're proud about taking down stock cars with a modded one? Go you.
The bottom line, no matter what I buy I want to be able to upgrade it if possible, you can't upgrade that Z06. That sucks in my book. There are too many 500+RWHP Honda's running around town to drive the streets in stock fashion, imagine Mr Z06 gets his ass handed to him by a civic, he wasts to add a power adder but he soon finds out he can't without tearing down his new Z06 motor, screw that. I'll take my low compression 500 Cubic inch motor and run 7psi like its nothing, smacking down Z06's like fly's on the wall.
And the lower hp on your GTS was due to the blower not the cylinder heads. Apples to apples, put a paxton on it and the gts will run just as hard as the SRT. If it was a 97-99 car it will mushroom bruise the SRT big time.
At any rate I completely agree with you on the Z, they should have built the car to take mods. While you could never reliably run much boost on 11:1 with a set of forged pistons it would be an animal with a 2-300hp nitrous kick.
As well fuck what everyone else thinks, enjoy your car and kick ass on those Z's.

Yea I know about Paxtons making more peak HP, like you said. I'm happier with the SRT-10, and it's my car so thats a good thing. I've had both rides and I prefer the SRT over the GTS hands down, I think the SRT will be a better car in the future as far as mods go, more displacement overall. Like they say, "There's no replacemet for displacement."
DONT COUNT ON IT!THIS IS A CASE OF PISS POOR TUNING AND LACK OF PROPER ENGINE REBUILD SET UP FOR A SUPERCHARGED APPLICATION.IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANY OTHER CAR INCLUDING THE VIPER.

MAN IM HOPING THOSE ZO6 DORKS DONT START TEARING DOWN THEIR NEW ZO6 MOTORS REPLACING THEM WITH FORGED LOW COMPRESSION PISTONS,FORGED RODS, KEYED CRANK,HEADWORK,CAM,HEADERS AND POWER ADDERS!
Pistons are not that expensive. Forged pistons and a couple hundred hp juice will put one deep in the 9's methinks. Nitrous has no problem with compression.
What would it cost for a piston swap, nitrous kit and drag wheels I wonder?

you are all idiots.
and yes.. it would suck to get beaten by a 500 HP RWD civic.. never seen one ever.. but it would suck.

Piston swap is easy, nitrous is easy.... drag wheels... uh oh
See those silly tire pressure sensors that HAVE to be mounted for the car to run properly will throw a code due to low pressure, pull a bunch of power, turn on all the safety bandaids etc.
So Kumho's are about the best tire you're going to be able to run

Next time you're visiting Disney World stop in at Central Florida Turbo, they have a few 140+ MPH civic/intergra customer street cars, not just one but several. And they are surprisingly reliable, I seen a few at Speedworld and all of them click off mid to low 10's @ 140+ MPH without breaking.
