Just got my SRT-Vert and already killed a Supra : )

I just got my SRT Viper off the car carrier not even 30 min ago when my friends Tom and Eric show up looking to pick a race, Eric brought over his newly purchased Supra TT 6 speed with a just installed downpipe and the boost was cranked up on the twin turbos, my car is all stock with the exception of the Corsa exhaust. My 1st impression of the SRT was, wow these brake's are so much better than my 99GTS's, overall I'm very happy with the switch to the SRT, no regrets for me at all.

Here is a video of our race:

nice win.... but a Supra TT w/ dp, and boost, aint much of a race.... unless he has a few more mods (exhaust, intake, fmic, afc) /20psi on 100octane

Nice kill. Glad to see so many new Vipers running around Central Florida. The Viper nation is growing and kicking ass. Now I need to find me another ZO6 to spank.

Saw that car on Ebay just a few weeks ago. Those HRE's look very nice.

I didn't know you switched already. When did you sell the GenII or do you have both ? great kill! SRT's are amazing cars. Simply a joy to ride and so damn deceivingly smooth.

Gerald, what's up buddy! I sold the GENII about two weeks ago, I love my old GENII but I actually like the way this car drives better. Here are a couple of pics of my new ride!

You have a very nice car. But that Supra has 290-300 whp with his mods. Not much of a race.

try more like 360-380 RWHP. My old supra dyno'd 322RWHP Stock, his car has a downpipe and a little bit of extra boost

That funny, all the Supras around H-town just have one turbo and I can't seem to keep up. I could just imagine if they had two.

If you ever come down to Orlando I'll take you up on that offer Texas is just too far to drive for a meet, I love cars and the group meetings but it's too inconvieniant to transport my car to a meet across the country. Have fun though!

SORRY, Supra 260-270 stock whp (not the 320 at the flywheel) He needs to get 100 whp out of downpipe and turn up the boost. You said it was extra boost?

Yeah but take it to the track and the tables turn. Not to mention, and like Orlando said those super high HP Supra's are hard to drive because of the sudden kick in of boost and then the sudden drop off when you let off.
compare that to a TT Viper set up that makes the same and more HP at better curves and easier drivability.
Remember when Paolo posted his dyno sheet, Realll nice HP and TQ on it
And if you just want to run with them a little spray never hurt, but I doubt you would bother with that.

Adam, that's too bad, you a baller, all these new fancy cars, just rent a transport to get your car to the biggest/baddest meet in the U.S. We usually have over 20 cars just from FL come to the meet. It's once a year, you not scared of my 183 ci are you?

You're wrong redline, 6 speed Supras dyno 315-325RWHP all the time, I bought my 1st new Supra in 1996 and had twin turbo supra's until 2005... 10 years, not to mention I used to own a performance shop / dynojet center so I would get to watch stock Supras dyno, Orlando used to host their Supra meet dyno days at my shop. Like I said, my car made 322RWHP stock.. go on Supraforums and make a thread asking what they dyno stock, the cars were underrated from the factory.

No Peter.. I'm not scared, it's just too far to go for me, we have Supra meets here in Florida all the time. For me its not worth the travel.. take no offense I think the meet you put on is the #1 meet int he country however I can read about the dyno #'s and drag times on the internet. I just did the Bradenton Viper event, that was enough for me
