got my first speeding ticket

Somehow I have got 5 tickets in the last 3 months, all in my 2500 cummins (none in my viper)... took defensive driving and got my lawyer to get all the other 4 dismissed.. he is good.

Check into the deferred or defensive driving options and it should not hit your record...

Should have told him you are surprised that he caught you if he was ONLY doing 100 since you were doing atleast 120 (they like it when you do that)

seriously get the attorney you do not want that on your record.

Seriously Jimmy, like slaughter said, shut the fuck up. Slaughter and I are both attorneys and don't have much advice to offer because we are not familiar with the laws of his state. He needs to get a good attorney (this next part is important) that IS LOCAL TO THE VENUE IN WHICH HE WILL BE GOING TO COURT. You want someone who knows the DA, knows the judge, maybe even knows the cop, and can have a good feel for what you are looking at and what maneuvers he can and cannot get away with. There is no substitute for competent local counsel.
