After driving around for three days my impressions
rough riding, loud, hot, one for the few,lifestyle on the edge, mystique, a dangerous car that one must be on top of at all times.
loving every minute of it!
only down side is the guilt; i mean from speeding on the highway(not in traffic). How do u guys stop u're self from doing over a 100. For instance say u're doing 80-85 , it's not long befor u're being tailed by one car , then two or three, besides u can barely go fast enuff in 6th at 80 SOOOOO it's just natural to keep pushing 100 plus. i guess my first ticket will be the answer, i just feel like such an outlaw till then....
Oh no you rebel, I bet this is the most excitement your life has seen in the past decade. Here's a thought, if you think that car is loud, hot, and "dangerous" stay the fuck away from my GTS cause you will piss and shit yourself all at once just being in the presence of sucha car. Here's a thought, learn the fuck how to drive and take your foot off teh gas, if thats too much to handle try one of the other 5 gears available.
Better yet just go the fuck away and pester the guys on the morg, they love to suck each others dicks over your newfound excitment.
I can already tell this car, even as docile as the SRT is, is WAY more than you can handle. Sell the heap for the inevitable $20k loss and buy a toyota hybrid, no chance of speeding tickets there. Now don't forget that car can't possibly come in contact with non-softened water, and must maintain at least 12 coats of zaino at all times. And you might want to contact snakehydes chad for a new interior, cause if you buck the statistics don't wreck it you will surly piss yourself and ruine the seats with in a month.

Just reminiscing the days when this place had a sack and a spine. The swing from WWE meets Hannity & Combs to Martha Stewart hosts queer eye for the viper guy has got to be turned around. If I remember correctly the original idea way back when was to have Anything Goes as the no-holds-barred, kick sand in the face, take a sledge to the nuts, "thin skinned members should stay out" forum. Whereas the various Viper forums, while not necessarily being a love-fest, would give Viper owners and fans some place to shoot the shit about the car and ownership experience, as well as say "fuck" and "Hennessey" without censorship. If you want to play "slam the SRT and insult the new owner" in the very forum made for it maybe you are better off in the morg. That seems to be the norm where they don't know where else to go with their frustrations.

Yes, AG is the smack forum and the other Viper forums are generally smack-free zones, however...
A little latitude seems to be given for really dumbass posts (such as momoron and his 3.5" exhaust), and posting the "Hello, I Am A Noob and I Have Arrived" in the wrong forum...I received some hazing for posting such in the GEN I and II forum...
Beyond that...I totally agree with you...they are smack-free...

Chris is right. Over the past few years we have made a concerted effort to lower the frequency of smack in the actual car forums, instead encouraging members to stick to Anything Goes if they want to mix it up.
Smack is definitely what this site is all about, but officially speaking we are a car site, and we need to be reminded of that every once in a while.
I call bullshit on this "new" owner. My 12 year old uses better grammar, and can actually get her point across without all the hyphenated slang. How in the world can someone with the apparent collective knowledge of a 7 year old make enough scratch to afford an SRT?

ya my grammar aint the best even for someone with a english boarding school education BUT as far as scratch goes it aint bad. Took home bout 600k last year(down year) - 2 months vacation - 30 hour work week - didn't want to stay home all the time cos the wifey nags 2 much. actually i'm self made - my parents ensured their kids education was a #1 priority no matter whether they could afford it (brother obtained his bs-md from oxford).
"down year" - the income of self employed people usually fluctuates from year to year. i'm sorry to hear u're somebodys bitch.
I know quite a few people with wealthy parents and for the most part the quality of their character matches those of self made individuals (rises above some lawyers) so the resentment towards "rich kids" is not always warranted.
