I am close to buying a 2003 viper.. Because of time restraints,am unable to personally inspect the car. I sent a buyer service out today to look at the car. The inspector was impressed with the car and of course ,was very critical..There is a tiny dirt spot on the door[in the paint] Most people would miss it.. Is this something indicative of a repaint? The inspector was convinced that no paint work has been done.. Anyone out there experienced this? Let me know .. The car is 56k.. Thanks
The factory had a problem with the '03 paint. It seems as though they used the same paint as on the earlier Gen II cars, and when this paint was applied to the newly designed Stratomaro, it wanted to jump right off the car.
