Is white a manly enough color?
Ok, it looks like I've finally given in to temptation and decided to buy an SRT.

I have boiled it down to a Mamba edition, in either silver or white.

The only problem I have is that I love the white, but feel that maybe it's a bit too chickish for my incredibly macho image.

The silver looks great, but to me the white just really sets off the lines of the car.

Black is out of the question because I don't like spending every other day detailing the car.

What do you guys think?

White is a beautful and macho color. I prefer the silver on the SRT, however.

I got the silver several weeks ago, having already long enjoyed my Gen2 being silver, especially because it shows dirt the least of any color, as well as looking the coolest/most sophisticated.

White is better than silver despite my rental car color opinion. Plus it will hold its value much better than a silver viper with a red interior.

There was a thread, several months back, with pictures of a Viper GTG in Houston. It had a really sweet pic of a white Hennessey SRT. The car looked badass!

White really looks good in person. Silver is nice but FAR more common. I personally like the white best (and I normally hate white cars).

Good Choice Greg (SRT )

I've had a white vette before (73 ragtop with a/c man I loved that car)....
The only thing I loved about the color is I didn't have to wash it as often and I could hang my arm out the window in the FL heat and not burn my arm .

I enjoy washing / detailing my car. It's therapeutic to me, actually. But I could never achieve that "reach in" deep just waxed looked with white. It just seemed to stay, well.... white. Nice color though. I think silver would look really nice.....

Post pics when you make your purchase and report on the ride impression, etc!

I always say get the one that you like the most. What if you get the silver and after amonth of having the silver, you regret not getting the one that you REALLY wanted - the white. I personally think white is awesome and would get that over the silver!!!

Besides, white apparently comes with a couple hotties!!! :thumb:
