Install a Gen 3 in a Hot Rod?

I have a 2004 Gen 3 motor, trans, wiring harness and computer from a totaled SRT 10 truck. I was going to install it in a non-viper car and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips. I was going to remove all of the non engine related wiring from the harness and just leave the wiring necessary for the PCM sensors. Will I be able to get it running?
Thanks for any advice you may have.

Tip #1. Don't install it in anything other than a Dodge or a Plymouth.

I am looking for a big fin Mopar 1957-61 vintage for the engine. Anyone know of any that might be for sale?

There's a guy who put a Gen I Viper motor in a Lowboy Deuce in a beautiful purple around here.

For info on those specific years, why not try an imperial?

My father and I have a 1959 Imperial. The very same car from the movie Sin City.

Best of luck in your search,

Jay K.
