The problem with a Z06 twin turbo is that the engine has to be completely rebuilt to take any boost and the engine's displacement would have me worried, as the wall thickness is already so tight that you can only bore it .5 mm anyway. I would say that a well done Viper motor will take much more power than a Z06 engine, as after all, the Z06 is a small block and the packages for it won't be much different as the packages before. Hell, Lingenfelter was already doing 427 small block twin turbos, so I don't think the engine output should change much. Although, I will agree with Norm that anything with "Lingenfelter" on the side should be given some respect.

Re: SRT Twin Turbo vs New ZO6 Twin Turbo
One thing people have to remember is Lingenfelter and a couple of other tuners have been playing with the 427 motors for awhile now. It is unlikely to see a huge change with the C6 Z. There will be some with 520 rwhp done N/A. and you will see around 1000 hp with really built TT motors. But they are doing that now. This is one of the reasons I sold my LPE 427Z to build a SRT TT. There is no replacement for displacement.... You put TT on vipers and you see over 1000hp. I think there is one close to 1700hp isn't there?

Re: SRT Twin Turbo vs New ZO6 Twin Turbo
One more thing the fastest Z that I know of is up north with a real nasty TT that runs in the 8's. But this car is an auto with solid rear axle. Very, Very fast and nice car though...
It dosent matter what the corvette has it still cant handle the viper.
cant handle it how?, when it comes to straight line acceleration modded for modded, its up in the air, when you put them on the twisties modded for modded, well look at the C6R and Viper Racer...Ive been hearing alot about that C6R lately...
