"Hi Shithead sales manager, I'd like to order my new Viper coupe through your dealership because you have the cooolest inflatable gorilla on the roof that grabbed my attention, here's my Coupe certificate as given to me by Dodge"
So said TonyG

Evidently you want to prove to the 2 users on this forum that you know it all. Well you do. You know everything. This is a crappy forum, and you must be the crappy leader.
Errr, WTF is your problem with the Alley?
Here's a nice patch for the back of your Salesman of the Year T-Shirt:

the usual VA welcome.
Clint wrote a very good reply, thanks
TonyG, you must have thick skin on the VA and not worry about the insults, it is part of price of membership.
I will try to put an end to the when and how many.
Chrysler is not doing the certificate route, the cars will be basically drop shipped on the same day to any srt dealer that has earned an allocation. Unless the dealer has made a deal with another dealer, they will each get one and only one coupe on the first shipment. They cannot be ordered yet and will not be able to order until after the first shipment has reached all srt dealers.

That is all.
Wow I didn't know lot boys were able to get so much info out of the zone rep's.

When you've got as good a reputation with Chrysler as our auto group and myself personnaly, they tend to answer almost any questions honestly.
My current rep and I met in 1990 when he was closing the dealership I worked for due to warranty fraud. We both weathered the storm and have a great relationship.
Enjoyable posts, and Craig201 you made some funny ass posts-thanks. TonyG, lots of good folks on here but some ball breaking and you played into their hands-so be it. The dealer support for the Vipers is just crappy my way in Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey and makes maintaining one a bit rough as I want it fixed under warranty without being seriously scratched by some Neon mechanic (it happened TWICE at local dealers!). If I got another Viper again, it would be through Woodhouse from the sale, delivery but mostly the genuine aftersale support and with their pristine reputation and volume of sales I think Woodhouse will get a huge allocation of snakes-however they end up getting them. This from a previous, non-Z06 owner I'm just SICK of looking at "another" Vette. Funny ass thread
Big fuckin deal I can write up shit like that too, doesn't mean shit. What's MSRP?? What is your VON???? What is your delivery date?? Production week??? I have so been owned
it doesn't mean fuck? you're a funny little man. it does mean I am getting one.
that guy said they can't be ordered, the dealer says they have one ordered. maybe you and him are just arguing semantics to make you feel like a big bad know it alls... I mean, shudder the thought of someone else having something to say that contradicts you.
You can argue all you want about ordering, and production dates, and delivery dates, and prices, etc. But arguing over the internet is like the special olympics, win or lose, you are still retarded.
All i know is there is a spot waiting for it in my garage. hopefully woodhouse is kinda enough to send me one of the first one's they get.

Yeah no shit you can put an order in for one, doesn't mean you're going to get it right away. Is it in DC's system? Does DC even care???
Just because a dealer sent you some neat-o paper with your name that you "ordered a car" doesn't mean you're first in like for anything.
Yes the car is going to be produced but do you know when? Do you know when first year of production is??? Hell you could be getting a 2008 model car for all you know. Nobody disputes that you can in essence "order" one but it doesn't guarantee you shit all.
Lots of people ordered Buggatti Veryon's back in 2001 and they still don't have their cars....
I really don't care who gets an SRT coupe first or whatever but thinking these "orders" are slated for production cars right now is hilarious.
