$3000 to spend... what aftermarket wheels or suspension to buy?
Hey Guys, needed some suggestions here. Got $3000 to spend on aftermarket wheels or suspension. Any suggestions on what wheels or suspension to buy? I have an 06 Viper lowered with eibach and caps. Need to change my 5 spoke powdered coated satin black/red striping stockers for an aftermarket one. Also, should I spend it on suspension like the KWs or Penske for better ride/handling?. Too bouncy with these eibach/caps. Thanks in advance. Here's my Viper:
Saw your thread on the other site. At 3k you are pretty much limited to a used high end 3 piece set I.e. HRE's, 360Forged, iForged, or a nice set of CCW's or Forgestars. The last to should fit your price range new.
As for the KW's or wheels. BOTH, one now one later.

PM replied to and thanks for the compliments. I have a full carbon set of straight 5's on the car now but my old set was spec5's with carbon faces and chrome lips.
Yeh you can't get me on the other site because I called the National President an ASSHOLE and he banned me. LMAO
Have you invested in yourself yet? By that I mean PERFORMANCE DRIVING SCHOOL? If not, then that is the single best performance investment you can ever make, and you can take it for free to every vehicle you'll ever drive from then on.

I spent 4 days at the Bondurant school in Chandler, AZ 20 years ago and it was around $3k back then. It is now $4300. They have a 2 day course in a Z-06 for $2800.
I don't know what your budget or availability is, but the 2-day is a great bargain, IMO. Accident avoidance, braking & turning, skid car/throttle steer, heel & toe downshifting. All of these are absolutely essential skills, invaluable to you as a front engine, rear drive, manual transmission performance vehicle owner. After that, you will be much more comfortable at any performance driving/HPDE weekend at a nearby track; and way ahead of many of the other drivers in an intermediate skills group where you will likey wind up in short order.
