Just to let everyone on the forums know and to give my fellow Viper Alley members a knowledge priority over other venues, the following has been my latest project and my plans are to offer a complete turn key solution to all with no parts needed to be sourced. I am working closely with Paul Scharf at Don Scharf to make sure that nothing is left out and all has been thought of in advance on this kit.
With minimal body work experience and a few simple tools, anyone can do this conversion with what will be supplied in their own back yard.
Here are a few progress pics:
Pics with most of the panels bolted on
a shot from the rear, this kit is designed to utilize the coupe third brake light
A bracket is being supplied to allow the use of the stock fuel filler door, those who want to upgrade to the stock coupe fuel door can do so by buying one from VPA or Paul Scharf
Here are a few pics of a more completed car with panels painted (in photoshop).
I still have to bolt on the rear diffuser and put the rear wheel wells back in and then send the parts out for paint and then finish making a few molds
This whole endeavor has been designed to make this conversion a reality for approx $3000.00 plus paint,
I am making the panels out of fiberglass, I will have an option in the future for a carbon rear decklid as well. I have designed this so that those who want to step up and use the factory rear bumper and rear quarters can do so.
I am supplying all the brackets, rear inner panel fillers etc.
Did a lot to this, but this should give someone an idea of how good this could look. I added a lot, but most noticeably is the Lemke hardtop. The quality of the original pics arent great, so this looks a little grainy/pixelated.
Great photoshop Austin, if you click on the pics they will take you to my gallery and then if you click on them again it will bring up a higher res, I have the high res images as well from the D80 but I had to dumb them down to upload them.
I have a hardtop in the works as well, very similar to the carbon concept top.

I had a guy ask if an ACR wing could still be bolted down with the conversion, so I grabbed a wing from the garage and placed it on and took a pic so he could see. A few of my customers are running the ACR wings on their verts and the feedback has been great, one guy, Shandon, went 7 hours straight on his local track and he said his car stuck like glue, he ended up quitting for the day after he overheated his Quaife rear end, but the wing did its job.
Nice thing is that for those that want an ACR package, on their vert, the solution is already there, whether they have this rear end or not.
Here are some finished pics of the coupe rear conversion that Steve sent me. If any of you are interested, PM, email or call Steve. I can honestly say that I REALLY like this look. I wasnt sure at first, but the finished product looks badass. I'll be working on a few PS's to post.
Here are two PS's I just finished. The first one is the ACR paint scheme. The second is the lower section of the fascia done in black like the striped cars. I also lowered the car a little.
Two things. First is the angle the pic was taken. Secondly, the coupe rear is a little taller/higher than the verts so that makes it look like it has a little more rake.
