Best sounding exhaust for SRT-10?

Been a while since I have looked for this stuff. I want a good sound, nothing loud and abnoxious. Probably going to do a full system, headers, high flow cats, etc..

Also what is the best cold air kit?

Gear swap?

Just picked up a 06 FE and need to get a good sound and get rid of the heat.

I have the Mopar Cat back system and K&N intake on my car. I'll vouch for the Mopar Cat back system, for sound. I was looking at Bellanger headers too. I can say for sound though, I have watched a good amount of youtube videos, and heard a bunch of Vipers at shows. Nothing sounds better than the mopar cat back system to my ears. 4k to 6k rpms, it sounds like a banshee. 0k to 4k rpms, it has a full sound, and purrs beautifully! Idle it's a little louder than stock, but nothing obnoxious. For me it's the best of both worlds. Only loud when you rip on it.

hmm never heard of a mopar catback, have to do some searching. How do the American Racing headers compare to the Bellanger?

I have the American Racing Headers with subcats along with the Corsa exhaust on my 06'. Sounds good, it's loud as hell when you put your foot down I mean loud, but quiet when your just cruising. The sound is great I get alot of compliments, gets real hot under the steering column but isnt anything you cant handle.

Should gay questions like this be asked at the VCA?

ARH Corsa 3 inch with no cats. Cats still cause more heat to the cab. Also do an sct tune as it will change the exhaust note just a little more with the added timing etc. Thats whats great about these cars wheels, springs, and exhaust makes it fall into more of an exotic car profile.

The best sounding header is our M&M Performance Home--Viper performance exhaust headers I have a Corsa on my 1k hp gen 3 and it sounds good at low rpms and wide open but still like a UPS truck while just driving down the road. I had a Mopar and that sounded very good. We also make our own that sounds very good. I am going to be taking the Corsa out to change to our own soon.

If it's like back in the day, it's the same thing as the Borla exhaust but with different tips (at least thats how it was for gen II's) And the Borla setup was the best sounding imo, very deep and agressive. I've never liked Corsas, sound tinny/ricey to me.

Right, I forgot we are not supposed to talk about Vipers anymore on viperalley. Just politics, stockmarket, and people dropping their snowballs in the floorboard while headed to the gym.

Or your gay ass pictures of you and other middle aged men wresting on a mat.

pwnd! Im interested on this topic too. If you just buy a catback does it rid the crossover pipe on the stock system? I was thinking of doing the mopar cat back and cutting the cats out and welding straight pipes. Heard alot of people like the mopar stuff.

Shawns just mad that his first attempt at wrestling ended with a nasty burn on his face. It truely was a SHORT fight.

I've got the Mopar Race Exhaust (no cats) and love it. I think it sounds the best of any I've heard. Not really a fan of the Corsa sound, but I've heard the Corsa doesn't have any drone. The drone doesn't bother me at all, but the Mopar does produce some drone on the highway.
