I AM GOING TO GO OUT ON A LIMB AND SAY THAT THIS IS THE WORLD'S FIRST TWIN TURBO SRT THAT IS A RUNNING CAR. WE PLAN TO START TESTING IT ON THE ROAD AND DYNO THIS COMING WEEK. WE ARE GOING TO BUILD POWER SLOWLY BY STARTING AT 5-6 PSI AND GO UP FROM THERE. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED ON THE PROGRESS. HERE ARE A COUPLE OF VIDEOS OF THE CAR RUNNING IN THE SHOP:
I don't think people know what it takes to hang TT's on an SRT!!
Unless youve ridden in one, most people cant even comprehend how nice a TT viper is! I would bet that the SRT TT will be the nicest driving, smoothest, most powerful viper EVER.
Well it sure would be nice to have something out there "Viper" that will still be being produced to look forward to. Looking forward to the finished product! :thumb:

So why did you go with supercharger?
Dont get me wrong, I love my SC system, but the cost for horsepower was a factor in my decision at the time. Both cars are insanely fast the TT is just faster.
I have always been partial to turbos, but never heard anything bad about superchargers, they both just ram air thru your engine. If Heffner did gen 1's I probably would have sent him my car. I heard DLM is working on a turbo system, is Heffner going to also?
Thanks guys, we are pretty excited about it. We are planning to do road testing this week to dial in the air/fuel calibration for 5-6 psi and then get a baseline dyno test in the next few weeks. We dont expect any big power numbers for a while. Lots of learning to do before turning up the boost. But for now, the car idles and runs smoothly and quietly. So we are off to a good start in my opinion. I may give a few rides to local Viper owners in the next week or so, so I will let them tell you how it feels on the road.
