How tuners can get the most from this site

I've had several requests from vendors looking to advertise on ViperAlley - thus far we have declined, instead opt'ing to be member supported. However, that doesnt mean that there aren't great tools here that vendors can use to promote their prouducts!

If you are a tuner/vendor, here are some helpful hints:

- Check out the Product Review section and make sure that you add your company products (products with images do better).
- Use the OWNERs section to upload information on any cars you wish to "show off". When someone clicks on your MY VIPER button, they will get a list of your cars that you are featuring. When you create your cars in this section, be sure to indicate what options from the Product Reviews section are included on the car. The owners galleries allow you to upload multiple photos per car - so be sure to include your dyno sheets and closeups!

Owners cars are featured on the Summary page, along with random product reviews.

When viewing an owners car, the addons will be linked into our product gallery which then link to the Vendor Review section (and visa-versa! vendor listings link to all vendor products which link to owners car who indicate they have that installed).

But contributing your products and feature cars to our site you will be providing Viper owners and future owners with a wealth of research information.

I know it is kinda Ricey (I used to have a WRX), but would the Alley support requests for group purchases? Instead of the vendor posting an item, how about a section where members can put up requests (time limited perhaps) that would allow vendors to step up to the deal and unload some inventory.

Anything to reduce the V-Tax!

You know what, i think viperally group purchases is a pretty decent idea.
Besides the obvious (wax for the posers, tires for the racers) what do you have in mind to buy as a group buy?

Any vendor out there interested in participating in a viperally group buy?

Non-performance: Nice thick non-bunching mats, poser silicone radiator hoses, vid cam mount, brake pads/fluid, pnp stereo components/speakers, etc.

Performance: StopTech brake package, heads, rockers, radiator, wing, Purners, etc.

I guess it would be easy to put up a wanted section in classifieds that individuals and vendors could reply to if gp's don't fly.
