Just bought srt-10 5 stars polished for my gts. Speedometer?
I just bought a set of polished srt 10 wheels and tires for my GTS. I know the back is going to be 19". Will my speedometer be off? If so, how much? How can i correct it?
Faster or slower? ANy info would be great.

Going with a metric tire size calc your original 18" rears with 335/30 were 25.9" tall and the new 19 inch with 345/30 are 27.1 using thies equation: (New Tire Diameter / Old Tire Diameter) * Speedometer MPH = Actual MPH
going the speed limit of 70 you are actually going 73.2
Going around town at 55 you are actually going 57.5
No too big of a deal but if you know you are in a county where thecop pull you over for 1MPH over, beware.

awesome! Thanks for the information..... Thats not a huge deal. How would i correct it if i wanted too? Do they have a cheap way?
Super small world, I bid on those but decided to stop. Ha Ha! In house bidding war.
I figured as much, the time line from you thinking of selling your rims to posting that you bought these was perfect.
Anyway congrats. P.s it won't make a big difference on the Speedo.

Funny.. I only wanted to bid up to 2500, in the heat of the moment i went up way more than what i wanted and what they are worth. Its the only set that i see thats available so i figured i would try to get them. Alot of money though around 3400 shipped. Just hope the tires aren't destroyed or the rims. Should look good on my black acr. I couldn't find any pictures of a black gts with those wheels on it. I see the yellow one on this site and it looks real nice.
Those rims supposedly came off the rapper of chris browns car because he took his srt-10 to get some 15k rims im sure.

In my turbo mustang i was going 130mph into a speed trap on a residential road on a Saturday morning. Speed limit is 35mph.
The cop let me go because my license plate says 8seconds. He was a car guy and couldn't believe how streetable my car was. (plus i knew the cop that trained him) .I moved out of that town and this new town im in the cops are much different and i go through radar traps almost every day on this main road that i have to take. It sucks. Always looking at that speedo when im on this main road.

Starting to get worried. When i emailed the seller before the auction ended i asked him how quick he would send them out. He said within 24 hours of payment. I paid for them right away, and emailed him. I haven't got any response back from him yet. Not looking good.
ya... Yours looks awesome! I was searching for a black one all over the internet with those wheels to see what its going to look like but had no luck finding them on a gts. Not sure if im going to get them from this guy on ebay or not. He tells me that he shipped them on Thursday, but doesn't have a tracking number and send them by tractor trailer. I have a bad feeling about this transaction. Also, when i asked him for better pictures of the tire tread he told me that he couldn't take any. Guess i will just have to wait and see.
it might not be fraud. I talked to him today on the phone so thats a plus. He sounded legit over the phone and says he can get me a tracking number on monday, but i should have them on monday. I paid with credit card through pay pal so i should be protected if i don't get them. Here is the link...
Its ebay item 270522678331. They used to be chris browns wheels off his srt 10. The rapper. i also see that he sold a set of lambo wheels off chris browns car. He is in VA and chris brown is also from VA. He told me he had his buddy ship them out and didn't have the tracking information, maybe im jumping the gun. Ill keep you guys posted.
Hmmm, honestly, I think the car looks better w/o the side exhaust. But please, PLEASE take that damn black bra off your car and burn it. Or, if you have already taken it off your car, go out in your garage RIGHT NOW and light the thing on fire. Bra's on Vipers =
