Heffner TT kit on ebay

Dodge Viper Twin Turbo Kit:eBay Motors (item 260447392941 end time Jul-22-09 14:48:48 PDT)

Figured I would pass this along in case anyone on here is interested. I emailed him about it and it does not come with the AEM or the fuel system setup that this system is sold with. I do not know the seller or have any guarantee on the product.

anybody know if this is a bolt on deal, or if there is any frame cutting or serious work that needs to be done?

There are two holes that need to be drilled into the front frame rails for the turbo oil return lines. Not sure if that is something Jason's future kits overcame.

Not a bad set up for a side mounted kit, I wonder if there's any room for T-04 sized turbo's to fit like a pair of 67's or something in that range.
And for 35K as per the last ad for this set with motor, the motor better have some work done to it, AEM programmer and fuel system with bigger turbo's on it.
UGR does their 78mm kit for around 28K-35K and the CPE guys do the 67mm side mount kit for something like 20-25K, not bad deals.

i talked to the guy and he said you would have to modify the frame if you went with bigger turbo's

Depends on the design and turbo placement. I know off the top of my head the CPE side mounted system uses the 67mm turbo's without having to do any cutting or frame boxing to fit.
Like I said, overall it's not a bad system for the money, it's actually very similar to the first DIY TT system Heff was going to offer in 05 but never made it to market besides one car prototyped. I think the original DIY TT kit was a footwell system where as this is side mount so you wont feel the heat as much under hard loads or long drives.

I have tried multiple times to contact the seller with emails and calling, but no luck, or no returned calls.....

I would love to go turbo this year, but i have a feeling this kit is going to go for ~9kish...but thats just me. I'll definitely be bidding on it, but it would have been a lot better for me financially if it was for sale later in the year.

Timing is what is keeping me away from bidding on the kit. I have the money, but could use it for a few projects I have more than I could use the kit.
