There are no videos, sorry.
I went to the local 1/8 mile track with the Kumhos. On the forth pass I ran a 7.19@106. Broke the shifter on that pass. Not a bad et, but the mph wasn't good even compared to my previous set-up with Pilots. I was only running 9.x degrees of timing and due to tire spin in third I turned the timing down to 7.x degrees for the last pass. That's nothing compared to the timing I ran with the Roe.
The track comparison: I think my Pilot passes in Brandenton were actually hooking better due to the sorry track conditions with the Kumhos....meaning down track too. Or, maybe it was the different application of power and driver experience. Bradenton street tire passes Roe/no2 were: 7.32@115.5, 7.36@110.6, 7.06@113 These and the above pass had basically the same 60' time.
Also, another note: I had to R&R the heads a while back because of a water leak and due to an AEM injector driver that went south and IMO hurt the seal on a few cylinders....I decided to freshen the rings. Well, it doesn't look like the new rings are seating this time so it smokes like a train. I haven't done a leak down yet...and I pretty much don't care right now
Today....I ordered some drag radials
