Sorry mattl, I am not going to buy into the idea that Hennessey is not paying back NoMercy because of what he is posting on the internet. If so, thats pretty fucking low of Hennessey because he could end it all by just paying him back. I dont know why it has taken so long, but the length of time is what has cause NoMercy to post what he does. Mattl, I still view your your opinion as nothing short of retarded.
Matt, Are you retarded or what?? I clearly stated that my post about the TT SRT was sincere. I posted nothing negative about this project. I am really interested in seeing a Turbo SRT. I just moved to Denver and the altitude here is keeping me from buying that SRT until I see some after market help. I am not saying that John will get the job but I am verey interested in seeing this done.
YOU are the one who is high jacking this thread. I suggest you re-read what I posted and not get your panties is such a wad and again thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it and I am sure John does as well.
I think John got WAY over his head in bills, and probably had/has debts into the hundreds of thousands. John has "admitted" his wrong by paying something back - yeah not all, but something. Like Tony said, if the squeaky wheel squeaks too much, at some point you put a rod in the spokes. I think and hope John will be more motivated to pay back No Mercy quickly if he isn't constantly getting flamed anywhere he goes. Also, the more business NoMercy removes from John's business, the longer it takes everyone to get satisfied. I think NoMercy should be commended for his patience in this, and I'm sure once John clears his debt with NoMercy, that both will be able to put this one to rest.
I'm with Tony, how about we get back to the TT SRT?
John, what is different between the GTS TT kit and the SRT TT kit? Do you handle fuel the same way? Is the new motor a better starting point for mods or worse, in your opinion?

OK, the system on the SRT is very similar in terms of turbo sizing, intercooler sizing. But the way it all packages in the car is different. Different headers, different dump tubes, different exhaust, different intercooler plumbing, turbo air inlets, etc.
Fuel system design is almost the same. The Gen 3 already has top feed injectors and an external fuel rail, so we will use the stock fuel rail for up to 750 rw hp. We will probably go to a thicker rail with a dash-6 size (half inch) for applications over 750 rw hp.
The base Gen 3 motor will start at 440 rw hp, so the twin turbo system usually adds 300 rw hp on 7-8 psi on an otherwise stock motor. So I guess it does have a small amount of upside compared to a Gen 2. I think once we get to doing CNC heads (flow 330+ cfm), turbo cam and other engine mods, the upside for power will be HUGE. I dont see any reason why the Gen 3 twin turbo wont make over 1000 rw hp on 15 psi with a well built motor, heads & cam.
While it is all going pretty smoothly at this point, I dont want to get too far ahead of myself and make it sound like a cake walk. These projects are never easy and I expect to have to deal with issues sooner than later. So at this point, it appears to me that the SRT twin turbo will make just as much power and have just as much streetability as the Gen 2 twin turbos built so far. Its going to boil down to how soon it will come together. As always, testing and tuning will be the key to success on this project.
No Mercy - you have been such a good guy about this. I was planning to bring a twin turbo SRT to Colo to do some altitude testing this Fall as long as we can get there before it snows. If we get it together, I will bring the car to you and let you take it for a drive. Not a sales pitch, but a thank you.
