Whats the latest on the Norwalk Drag Race?????

Any finalization on classes and who can come?

After watching the BG video, I'm jonzing for some action.

How many unlimited cars coming? Any purse for them? I know I'm not wanted in mod 2 because of my 9 second e.t...and am tired of arguing about it, and may race in whatever class that is offered in an effort to join my Viper peers.

Let me know as I am trying to plan out the busy month of September and Ohio is a long ways from me.

Please Come, If nothing else it helps further the Viper Drag RACING Cause!

Besides I need to know the secret on how to add 2 power adders, Im thinking of adding a turbo system where no one can tell.

It sounds like all the unlimited guys are changing over too Mod 2 so who knows who is racing in Mod 2 or unlimited.

Seriously, as I read the ever changing rules from the OH event, I know that I read some BS about "no tuner shop cars allowed". Hey Tom you might want to get some clarification if the Viper that YOU own is allowed since you own the SHOP and are a tuner (or Florida tuna as it may be).

Personally, I think rules such as this are gay beyond beleif. Check with Paul, he is a good guy and hopefully he is realizing that he does not need any senseless rules such as this one to have a good event.

There seems to be a bit of confusion due to the large number of posts on multiple sites. Paul is firm in his conviction to emphasize his defined MOD2 class. The largest number of cars will be in the MOD2, therefore, the emphasis.
Everyone is aware that there will be a $2000 purse split amongst the heads-up and bracket racers.

That gets us to the the unlimited class, or those that don't think they are, however, they fall outside our Ohio defined Mod2. After a little alcohol, following the Columbus race last weekend, Paul said that the Ohio VCA would put up a $1,000 for the unlimited class prize and possibily supply travel monies. I hope Paul hasn't forgotten (age and alcohol does that) and will confirm my ravings.

Dr.Roof we will trick them.....When all the Unlimited drivers move to Mod2 ,all the Mod2 drivers will move to Unlimited.
