Broke my tranny this past weekend. I'm currently looking at all my options. If anybody has any leads, or have a spare G-force unit that you might want to let go , please PM me.
thanks!
I purchased a trans with a new Gforce gearset from a reputable Houston shop. And installed it in my car one week prior to Bradenton. Then with less than 200 street miles on it, it started popping out of 1st gear under acceleration. Luckily I still had my stock T56 to put back into the car, the morning I left for Bradenton.
I'm of the OPINION, that a well-built stock transmission is much more dependable than the Gforces I've seen....and now experienced first hand.

I have a stock T56 that I took out of my 96 GTS because it wined in 1st gear but worked fine. I got sick of hearing the wine. I think maybe the input bearing may be bad. Not sure. If interested PM me. I have no idea what it is worth. I was thinking $500-$1000?
For the record mine was not stock . It had the rpm Stage V treatment. Happy with their service, and they are working on a quote to fix it wth G-force parts.
I had the stock gear chryo, and micropolished. I just think they can't hold the power.

What does 6spd. inc do to them?
Six Speed is no longer in business. They typically used stock gears...chryoed and microlished. Then they recommended a "face-plated" syncro 1-4. That set-up seems to work very well on the track, but it's not the most streetable choice IMO.
I blew my stock tranny while cruising up the street. Took Dodge 2 months to get a new one. So far, the rear and new tranny are still in one piece. My fingers are still crossed.

I'll probably be following in your foot steps soon. I believe Rodney told me a while back the Stage V would not hold over 800rwhp (I could be wrong with that).

I must have gotten lucky on my current stock T56. It's been through two Bradentons, two Texas Miles, TX2K8 and 12k miles of street driving.
