Can you pass on the info in regards to Donato contact info? I will need to do this soon and it sounds like the G-force stuff is junk.
No problems out of my G-force tranny at all, still shifts and runs smooth as silk after about 10k miles. And a few drag events when I was shooting a 200shot out of the hole.
Going with Donato.
He actually uses the Truck gears which are made of 9310 alloy (same alloy as the G-force gears) one piece cluster shaft (gen 2 is two piece), and the 9310 truck input shaft.
He mods. the gen 2 t56 to use all the truck stuff, and your speed sensor. He shot pins it and heat treats it.
The truck gears have a different pitch angle, and have thicker teeth.
I'm going to give it a try, I really liked John. He seems very technical and knowledgeable. Trany conversion is less $$ than the G-force rebuild.
Thanks!
you will be glad you did. he has done several for me and my customers. i have one of his in my srt truck, it makes over 1000hp to the tires and its a heavy pig. no problems and i have drag raced it many times

Sounds like a good option. Let us know how it holds up.
Does anyone have an updated phone number for John Donato??
John's # is 248-921-4969. V10TT got a tranny done by him and loves it. I just talked to Julio this morning about his bad-ass Donato built T-56 with all the goodies.
