97 B/w

Brought home a 97 b/w. Needs some work but its mine. Experienced quite a bit of enjoyment just having it in the garage the evening cleaning it up. What a work of art. Its dinged up pretty good but I can live with it. Going to focus on the drivetrain and leave it at that for now anyways. Be cool to be able to drive it whenever I want with no real concern for racking up miles on it or scratching the damn thing.

Got a set of decent RT 10 wheels with it. Dont think I will ever use them but believe they have some value?

Wondering what type of wheels these are. Got 335's all around if that means anything. Looks like a Borla exhaust on it with headers supposedly that Archer did. Has a couple exhaust leaks that dont look like fun to fix.

Frigging thing barks when you hit the gas tho. Damn. Almost makes the hair on the back of your neck standup.

Cant wait to drive it. Probably wont be this year tho. Got all winter to work on it in a heated garage. One bug at a time.

Edit...having some issues posting pictures.

You got the Pawn Viper? Are you in MN? I have some parts for that car when you need them.

Try uploading them to this site. Then try posing them again. Did you get the car from Wilmar, MN area?

Yep its the pawn viper. Got a fair deal I think. Spent all evening with it last night and havent found any remarkable surpises yet. So far its been what he said it was. This thing is like working on a late model snowmobile. Heavy wiring, lots of fasteners, name brand relays, carefully chosen flexible materials routing.... This thing was built to stay together. The hoods kindof a pain in the ass to open and close.

The only thing that concerns me is these exhaust leaks. Would like to just drop a tranny in it and drive it but thinking it might be wise to yank the motor and work my way out.

Can you access the entire exhaust near the engine without taking it out? IE header bolts and header to flange connections?

What I can see needing now...

Tranny and probably new flywheel, pressure plate, t/o bearing....... allthought the clutch seems to work just fine.

Stock shift nob

Factory amp

Got some issue with the drivers door opener. Believe I chased it down to a non replaceble relay thats in a 1.5"x 4"x 6" plastic box under the steering wheel that has three plugs going into it. It appears this whole gizmo needs replacing.

has an after market exhaust pipe cover on the passenger side. (the type than can be converted to side exhaust) and its in fair shape but the drivers side is kinda ratty and doesnt match. Would like to find a black/unpainted one just the one on the right.

Thats the extent of my planned efforts to get it on the road.

CCW's "Classic" Model Complete Custom Wheel
Those were the first generation Viper track wheel from about 10-12 years ago, although they are still produced. I run them on my race car still. They are fairly light and are 3 pc.

Sounds like the wheels on it are period correct. Some dudes on e-bay selling a rollbar cheap. Looks like you have to pull a door to get it in. Do you lose legroom by not being able to move the seat all the way back?
