Exclamation Viper Days info

I would like to attend my first Viper Days event this October in College Station and also the last one in Decatur this year. Reading on thier web site it says it is required to run michelin tires. Unfortunatly I just installed my 20" iForged/Nitto INVO combo on my 2001 Viper RT/10. I still have my stock wheels but they have BFG KDW tires mounted on them. Will I get turned away at the event and loose my entry fee? I also do not own a helmet or any racing gear as I do not hit the track much at all, this would be a once a year maybe twice a year thing for me. What all do I need to participate and from your experience is it worth the money to attend? I appreciate any info on this at all. Thank you.

You can run any tires. Without Michelins you won't be ranked based on your time. You need a helmet to do this or any high performance track day. There are inexpensive suppliers online.

You'll be grinning for the whole weekend. Great decision!

It is worth every penny !!! Perhaps you could do it cheaper at a locally run track day; but, you would be out there with a highly mismatched set of cars and drivers. ViperDays attracts similarly performing vehicles, mostly Vipers, and then they group drivers in run groups and lets them on the track in the order of their driving level. It's a great experience that SHOULD NOT be missed !! Of course, you can do some of that stuff on public roads; but, on the track you can feel freer to explore your car's limits without the fear of oncoming traffic

Check out Helmetcity.com , recommended in numerous posts.
