Another issue found and fixed....caliper pins...
Drove the car last night to the beach and noticed a faint sound coming from what sounded like the driver front wheel well. Get the car home and notice the two pins that hold the break pad in on the front caliper were out! I think two reasons why: 1) The idiot that had the stock springs cut and the car was SLAMMED...I mean it was about 1 inch off the ground in front no joke. The roughest ride I have EVER felt in a Viper...EVER! Put it this way, when I put my Eibach pro kit on the car...it brought it up OVER an inch! AND 2) The idiot that changed the brake pads (there are EBC green pads on the car) probably just hand fit the pins into place. I didn't have a punch, but a Phillips screwdriver did the trick and I pounded the pins into place for a good snug fit. I have never messed with the brakes before but it seems to me that from the rough ride and the pins not being hammered in to place were the reason for them popping out. Just thought I would post this in case someone else runs into the same thing and does a search. Any thoughts???
