A new Classified Ad has been posted to the Vipers For Sale section:
Description: I'm looking at selling my B/W 97. I've owned it for 3 years. It makes just over 600 rwhp and 620 rwtq N/A. It has:
RSI 510 stroker motor, 11.7:1 compression ratio. Forged rods, forged pistons, custom cam, TD Rockers, throttle bodies, VEC2, fuel rails, injectors, etc, etc, etc. Headers, 3" exhaust with no cats and a B&B catback, 3.45 gears, Centerforce clutch, etc.
Forgeline 19" VR1 wheels with Pilots on the front and Hoosier R6's on the rears. The wheels have a silver center and a machined lip. Forgeline stopped making these wheels in 19" size a couple years ago.
Those are the high-points. The car also has a list of smaller mods and upgrades like MGW gas door, shift ball, glovebox door and HVAC knobs. Rear cargo cover with a blue and white Viper logo embroidered in it, HID's, Unitrax half-shafts, etc. along with several more things.
The car has 48k miles but I keep it very clean. The interior is damn near flawless. The seats have only about 21k miles on them and they still have that leather smell. I put a new front bumper on the car last year after some debris on the freeway damaged it. The existing nose already had the common road-rash on the lower corners in front of the tires, so I had it replaced with a new one rather than trying to repair the original one.
The car went 10.7 @ 135 with a very mild 1.64 60'. With a more agressive launch and in some good air, it should go 10.4x @ about 138ish. Not bad for a car that I drove to the track, raced and then drove home on 91 octane!
If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me. This car is an absolute blast to drive. Those that have driven these cars with a nice N/A setup will understand what I'm saying.
Here is an audio clip of it idling. Just past the 1 minute mark, you'll hear it idle down and then you can get a feel of how nasty is sounds:
