WTF kind of car show is this for Rethreads and Vette owners. Come and discuss the latest in adult diapers and other sanitary products that are a must have to clean your car up.
Jim wheelchair racing only-no mods or turbos allowed Mr MoFo.
I was trying to figure out how a car show with vehicles looking like they belong on a Carmax Used car lot attracks spectators anyway. Must be boring as hell in Plano.
Denny, the girl in the photo was clearly upset after she was asked to leave for rev'n her vtec.
I'm going to get there early, chug my free Mega Monster energy drink and then throw the can on the ground. I feel like I'm getting out of control here and I'm lovin' every minute of it!
Not to bad mouth ricekiller.com but their website and motto is "Uniting Imports And Domestics Against Rice." Most of their members drive Japanese imports. Granted, there are domestics but ........
I see one Viper in the picture and it doesn't appear to have a "special" spot, its next to a trash Mustang and what appears to be a minivan on the other side.
You guys are hilarious. I think it is more of a 'get together' than a car show. I was going to go check it out but my I don't have my car back yet. Guess I could take the Ford Ranger in the meantime, huh? Think I would fit it?
My wife and I went a few weeks ago...looking to see some vipers, but mine was the only one. Mostly all kids, though I was glad to see there is a location for kids to meet to show off their cars. My wife and I had a 1/2 price mini-pizza and then we were on our way. I probably won't go back unless some of you guys start attending...not much in common with kids half my age (hehe).
Looks like Ripper02's Heffner GTS in the bottom right hand corner of the ad.
Seems like it's more geared for teens and the Stang/Z28 Camaro "look what I just bought" crowd then the Viper/FGT guys.
I've been to similar events like these and they're ok for teens and 20's like I said. However, it ends up being the same redundant "makes you want to smash your head against a wall" arguments when Vipers are around. And thats the whole $$$ to speed ratio and my (insert turbo in a trash can ride here) ride can whip up on your more expensive ride.
Maybe this is not like that and for the longevity of the event I sure hope so.
Yo bro do yah wanna go to da show?

A LITTLE faith, with ALOT of God's favor is all you need to succeed.
If you wanna get technical, we have about a 70/30 domestic to import owner ratio on the site...
But I did not mention my site.. you guys did.
I will post some links, but you cant view them without an account.

Long ago, I realized that guys like you dont like to hang out with kids all the time. I started a "Sunday Afternoon Mature Owners GTG" and it was a huge hit. It was not rare to see 10 vipers, 6 for gt's, 4 ferrari's, 2 lambos, a ton of cobras, supras, vettes, and p-cars, etc...
Then, summer in texas came, and the sunday meets got way to hot. I have called them off for now, but they will return. Maybe this is the kind of meet you guys are looking for.
Regardless, this meet still attracts at least 3 vipers every week, sometimes more, and any viper that comes gets to park in a coned-off area where you can feel safe. I know how much your car means to you.
The idea of my site (this is a un-releated topic) is that we have to stop "ricers" which are pretty much the idiots of the car world. And they do come in all shapes and sizes, import and domestic... They are the guys that end car meets, cause trouble, and are a threat to our hobby.
Er, well, maybe not YOU guys hobby, but to those of us that prefer to meet at night in large numbers (100+ cars) yeah, the ricers are a problem.
I am all for make and model sites, I am a member of 3 LS1 boards (SS Owner), but I felt the need to start my site to make a different in the auto community, and hopefully change the face of automotive enthusiasm.
Kind of a lofty goal I know, but I am trying. To those of you who came out, thanks, and I hope you return. If you need anything at all please let me know, safety and fun for the whole family is my #1 concern.
