Most people wouldn't have a clue an auto is in it, I wouldn't worry. To me, you'd be crazy to take it off. It's not going to make a difference. Go rent a track, make a clean pass with it on and make a pass with it off. I bet you won't see any significant difference. If no significant difference, leave it on!
The guy has the record now. I say leave that shit alone until someone steps up. Even then Sal has more boost on tap when he finds the track willing to hold it. Leave the AC in Sal.
2 down 65 in a GTS doesn't work for shit, Chris. My viper which although only sporting a little more than half what Sal's is, doesn't flow air any differently then his while cruising with the windows down. GTS almost let NO air in while cruising unlike most other cars you do the same in. I need to drive with my hand out of the window deflecting air into the cabin to get any wind inside the car if the ac is off.
Well I was somewhat kidding about the 2 down 65 comment, but you have a red wheel wich cools the car an automatic 10 degrees anyways so no worries there.
Sal does your current set up allow you the option to run a shorter belt to bypass the A/?. Try that and see if it makes a difference before removing the unit completely.

i dont see it as a complex... but to run high 7's on 93 is VERY impressive... he is very goal oriented... how many people can say they have a 7 second street car....

I believe everything is for sale. We all have a price for our various toys. Just a matter of how bad someone wants them. I watched a racer sell his car a month ago that "wasn't" for sale. That's how the conversation started. 75k later he sold it less motor/tranny
