Well, a new hood is the most expensive part... It doesn't really look that bad, so my question is Why was it totalled? Unless the frame is bent beyond fixing.... that should not be considered a "total" / "salvaged vehicle".

Slightly bent frames can be repaired and this one "looks" ok, but looks and actual measurements are two different things.

Depending on the cost of this car as is, it may be cheaper to buy a Gen I in good condition.

The guy said possibly the right front suspension since the tire is pushed back and rubs against the door post, but it is hard to tell until the frame gets straightened . The bumper and right rocker cover need replaced, both air bags. But mainly the frame damage is the biggest damage..it needs repainted too...how much you guys think i'll be shellin out to fix her...i've heard the hoods are really expensive and can be hard to find...his asking price is 16,000

Send a message via AIM to 02 VIPER GTS
Unless you can get all the parts at a very good discount I would'nt touch it.

Too many Vipers out there right now that aren't wrecked that can be bought for cheap....stick with one that hasn't hit anything. You'll feel safer at 180 mph

You'll spend more trying to fix it then getting a nice clean title car. You will end up short cutting and end up with either a money pit or a cheap POS salvage viper. Run now! Man up and get a nice one with high mileage. You will end up spending a lot less.
