Hello again. I need a pic of a gen II GTS with the Eibach pro kit (preferrably on 19's) and another Gen II GTS with ONLY the lowering caps kit on the STOCK SPRINGS. (again, would like with 19's). I'm down to doing either of these with my car but needed some actual pics to see what I think looks the best. Thanks again guys!
I don't know if you are going to get the exact pics you are looking for? But heres a couple of pics of my car that's lowered with Eibach springs and caps on 18" OEM size rims/tires. With springs and caps my car is slammed.
That looks great! How much lower will cutting that one coil out be if everything else is stock?
I have no idea how much cutting one coil will lower the car. I'd guess the car would sit 1/2"-3/4" (or whatever the lowering caps do by themselves) higher than the pictures above.
I have the springs and caps coming for my '00 RT/10. You might as well get both and slam it, you won't be dissapointed. It would suck to do half the job and then decide you want both. IMO
Has anyone here ever cut springs before?I was toying with the idea and wonder about it because the top and bottom of the spring is flat to rest flat. If you cut out a loop won't the spring not stay on the shock under load?
Thats a good point zilla but the problem is my car is already slammed and in FL the roads can be unforgiving at times. I want the car to be lowered somewhat, but I am trying to see how low a car is with just the eibachs or just the caps with stock springs installed. The 19's help make it look good as well.
I hear ya I drive in FL and there is construction everywhere. I am careful where I go and what route I take. Remember the 19s will also raise your car nearly and inch.
Remember the 19s will also raise your car nearly and inch.
That is not necessarily the case. It's the tire diameter and not the rim diameter that determines that. I have 19/20's that are very close to the same diameter as stock 18's.
After lowering it with Eibacks springs, did you have to use camber plates to correct the camber? I want to lower my Viper, but I dont want to ball-out the inner side of the front tires.
