Trying to find out if anyone knows who this was in NJ and what town he was from?? The article says that the driver did NOT make it after being airlifted to a hospital. His girlfriend escaped unharmed, but they were not able to save him. Witnesses say the car was driving normal and they next it was off the road and flipping. Sounded like the driver was pinned in the car.
People commenting on this news were heartless, saying that it delayed their commute by 1.5 hrs due to the road being shut down. When people see someone in a high performance car and it involves an accident, they just assume the driver was at fault without getting the details of what happened.
If anyone knows more about this accident or who it was, please provide more info.

Phil's viper is in Florida at Doug Levin's. He is flying in Wednesday to pick it up and drive it home.

Rt 78 is a brutal road. I'm fairly new to the NJ viper community and got chills reading this. I have a 99 Silver with Blue Stripe GTS and I'm up in North Jersey but frequently use RT78. My thoughts go out to this person's family and loved ones. The blog on nj.com confirmed the driver did not make it. Very sad story!

Someone posted this in some ferrari chat room. I've never pasted a pic before. Hope it works. If not, here is a link to the pic that appears to have been posted by someone driving by.
