i ran into 08 busa

hi va,

i wanted to post this last week but business trip kept me away from va. it was last saturday around noon on dullas toll. It was niceday and i was driving my tt viper and ran into modded(what i can see) 2008 busa with longer wheel base. my viper was running pump gas and boost was set at 12psi. i blew tires off on third gear so i had to lift little but i was right next busa and started to pull away on 4th gear. i gave him thumbs up and headed back home. When i got home parked the car in garage and opened to hood and find #9 plug wasn't connected.

Damn, i hope to see him again with all 10cylinders firing.

What did your car dyno at???

it put down 957rwhp @ 12psi on dyno dynamics loading dyno. that was back to back hp also, never turn off the car during few hours of tuning. If car was cooled and dynoed for max power, i'm sure it could of made over 1000rwhp.

When you raced the Busa, what MPH were you guys at when you started the race?

i can't really remember but i would say around 3500 or so because there weren't much turbo lag. I have twin t78s.

bike, was on my leftside and when i blew third gear and spun the tires car started to slide towards the bike so i had to let off little.

08 busa is a good kill, but it sounds like a very short race from 3rd spinning to pulling away in 4th......Surprised you could pull him that easy as they are high 8 sec bike almost stock with great rider. Good race.....

A stock 08 Busa will run a mid 9 ..........stock.

I have an 08 Busa, and am noted to be a good rider and I went a 124mph in the 1/8th with only exhaust and tune.
Thats right around 150ish in the 1/4. He definatly has a strong car.

I think the Busa guy slipped into your garage and unplugged a plug on purpose
