On the road is actually an understatement for a first drive
I did my n/a dyno on 5/21 and a few days after that I decided to go ahead and get the turbos on before the Tn/Al VCA gathering in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tn. on 6/6-6/8. Lots of Ga. and N.C guys/gals along too.
Because my heads are gen3 and the width is different that caused me some grief but it was worked through, just took a little extra time. I spent what time I had early last week and and last weekend and then 18 hours straight on Thursday and after 12 hours on Friday I was ready for the road.(yes, the other 30+ Vipers were already running the tail of the dragon *)
Being late, a 3 mile test drive and then shower and a sandwich to go and I was off. I left Friday at 7:15pm and drove the scenic mountain route and got there at 11:15. The Park service guy that followed me (dark) for 20 minutes through the curves at 60 in a 35 held me up some......nice guy, no ticket, no warning just shooting the shit on the side of the road a while. He was in a Charger.
Saturday we did a mountain cruise and then took 20+ Vipers down the main drag. Pretty awesome deal.......the thousands of people on the sidewalks and balconies basically came to a stop and the cameras/flashes and Videos were rolling. Those that don't know Gatlinburg, picture one mile of the Vegas strip in the mountains with the huge foot traffic.
Today we hit the Muscle car museum and then Hooters in Knoxville and then back to Georgia for me.
All total this weekend I put 480 miles on the car and because of the traffic and the curves, probably over ten hours time. The temps were over 90 degrees and when I got off the freeway at home this afternoon the bank was showing 99 degrees.
Unfortunately I didn't get to play with the boost much at all. I could tell it's going to hit hard, but I just made some very short bursts on the way up. Needs some tuning and after getting there I just didn't have the time or a place to make it happen. It will though
Another fear I had was busting the transmission or rear so far from home.... meow
Props to Paolo and everyone that helped on the CPE side mounts. I am very impressed with the products fit and finish. I have no doubts it will perform !!
I'm sorry I didn't have my act together to give some rides this weekend
Another prop goes out to Matt GTSNRT10 .... at literally 5 minutes notice with no place to park in Gatlinburg he makes a call to a buddy/policeman and has the police blocking the main drag and an escort to city parking among other magic tricks he pulled. He knows someone everywhere !!!
Good to meet Supraman95 as well as seeing old friends........ 99RT/10
Really a great weekend .... lots of good folks.

Great to see you again Tony! We did have a BLAST I'm glad you made it!!! That setup looks VERY NICE, I can't wait to hear the final numbers!! I look forward to making it down for the cookout coming up We need to have these weekend trips here more often (I have a few other roads we can venture out on) I will try and post some pics up soon. I would post the video.... but there would be quite a bit of editing needed so I better not

I love Gatlinburg. My Wife and I have a timeshare up in one of the resorts, and we end up going 3-5 times a year. Their 4th of July celebration is pretty good, but I haven't been able to get to the top of the chairlift for the mountain on a 4th yet. I suspect it's the best view.
great time is an understatement... 33 Vipers, 2 Paxtons (1 SRT & Matts GTS) + 3 Roe GTS's, then Tony came rolling in Sat. with his New CPE setup.
Wow, what a weekend. Tony's car sounded WICKED!! Oh, and I took some shots of your engine I will PM them to you...
Yes, that small cam really woke up (sound wise) with the new exhaust. The four mufflers that I had with the Roe were definitely quite. Now it sounds like it should, but still no drone or excessive noise going down the road.
