A new Classified Ad has been posted to the Vipers For Sale section:

Stage 3 cylinder heads, larger valves, custom grind solid lift cam, shaft mount rockers, 70mm t-bodies, VEC III, B & B headers and complete exhaust w/high flow cats, Nitrous express wet system(never used), B&M shifter, aluminum flywheel, 3:55 gears, Fluidyne radiator, HID lights, Aldan coilovers, etc. Car is in perfect condition, runs and drives as good as it looks. Lots more pics and video available.
seriously though...I've a 2000 and someone turned down $39K to buy it. Let me know when and if your car sells. I'm not actively sellling mine at the moment because at the prices I'm seeing, I'd rather keep it..even if I can't afford to track it.
I put the ad up for my customer, and because of what prices he has been seeing like catwood said, he was unsure what to ask for the car. I think there is some extra value in a car with such low miles, and having worked on and driven this car I can tell you it is just about as close to brand new condition as you can get. Right now he is open to offers, and I guess that will give him a better idea of what it's worth and what he can get for it.
I believe the car made about 530 hp and 555 ft/lbs. The solid lift roller cam really worked well in this car, feels much better than any other hydraulic cammed car we have done.
If I had the money I would give him $55k for it, but I believe it is "worth" more.
In a world where stupos pay a $200k markup for an entry level ferrari, I think a $65-70k asking price for sucha low mile car in this rare (and coolest looking) color is not all that much.
I think the economy is definitely affecting the prices on the vipers. IMO, more than half of viper owners are not rich nor are they close to being rich so high gas prices and rising costs overall are going to affect this...
