HELP...What can you tell me about this GTS...

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a 99 Silver and Blue GTS that was previously owner by a guy out of FL by the name of Bob Tew. I believe it was raced a few times and tuned my Macedo back in the day but I'm curious to know anything else about it, like if it's been in any accidents or heavily beat on, etc. If it helps idenitfy the car, the sill behind the seats was autographed by Bill Elliot but it doen't appear he ever titled it or owned it for that matter. This guy Bob Tew would have been the second person to have titled it.

Any insight and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I called about one of that description in Daytona about six months back. The e-Bay ad claimed it had been given to Bill Elliot. It was being sold by some guy who had a salvage business (not car salvage) that said he needed to clear out space in his warehouse. When I called, the car had already been sold. Port Orange is just south of Daytona Beach, so the guy referenced above may be the new owner.

Thanks for the insight guys. There is mysteriously very little information out there about this car. I was hoping some FL guys would be able to chime in. I believe the original owner is a guy by the name of Maher Harb, Bob Tew being the second owner, although the Carfax, which I vaguely remember, suggested the car may not have been titled until it already had a couple thousand on it. Up until last year this car was in FL.

There may be nothing at all out of the ordinary but I'm just curious. Again, any insight would be extremely appreciated! Again, what I do know is that it's a 99 non-ACR, Silver with Blue Stripes, autographed by bill elliot and was worked on by Macedo years ago.
