Trunk Top from A.P. Engineering any good?

Do anyone have any experiance with these trunktops from A.P Engineering ( hard tops that fit into the trunk) ?

I wanted to add I looked for older posts and I didn't find to much. I have a 2000 RT/10 and was hoping for some first hand use :0-).

I'm interested in them but was hoping someone had some experiance with them. I wanted to see how easy they are to use and if it's worth it.

AVOID THIS:

thanks!

what are your expectations and reasons for this top? Different tops serve different purposes. He also has a nice one top.

I still like the appearance of the AutoForm hardtop....have one my damn self and love it. DOES NOT fit in the trunk though!! (but nothing does)

Absolutely brilliant is all I can say about the 3 piece top. I also have a 2000 RT-10 and now mostly drive with only the center piece in (lots of flexibility), I get lots of great comments on it, and find that gas stops take even longer than before as people want to ask questions about it.

The shop is near my house. The owner took me on a tour. Fantastic product and with a seat lowering kit you could be 6'6" without a problem.

thanks guys...

I read a bunch of posts that Jeff did and it looks like they make quality stuff.

I wantd to know who had it and used it. How easy is it to take on and off?

More or less I'm looking for something easy and looks good that I can keep in the trunk in case I have to put the top back on. I already have a hard top which it's nice but doesn't fit in the trunk :-) The soft top is less then ideal.

I'm 6 foot so I might have to get that lowering kit I assume if I do get it. Not sure if it's worth it and thinking out loud :-)

I can't tell from their website how easy it is to use and how solid it is on the car when driving. Those of you who own do you have some thoughts? If I was Jeff I would get some youtube videos of how easy it is to use and someone taking it on and off. I'm sure that would answer 10000 questions he gets. Also a walk around the car video of how it looks on. Pictures are nice but videos bring things to life.
