Question Lug Nut Help

I have a Gen 1 and am getting a set of Gen 2 (18 inch) rims. Given the lug nuts are not covered with the centercap like on a Gen 1, what lug nuts do I need to get. Is this something I can pick up at Autozone or the like? Any help would be greatly appreciated...or if anyone has a set for all four rims they are willing to pass on, that as well would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Ryan

You can get basic typical open end lug nuts at Auto Zone just to hold the wheels on, but not sure about chrome matching ones for the new wheels. They didn't send the lug nuts with the wheels? You should be able to find some replacements online somewhere I'm pretty sure... possibly even at auto zone or pep boys.

One thing to remember... with covered end lugnuts, is make sure the depth is there. You want long covered lugnuts. If they are too short, the stud will bottom out at the end of the lugnut and you will end up twisting the stud right off.

I'll hit up one of the local parts stores tomorrow...are the torque specs the same as the gen 1 rims?
