afraid to buy a tracked Viper?

I posted this on the m.org and got some shit for it but I figure to post here and get even more.............

Someone walked away from mine at $39990. To that I'd like to say thanks for not taking advantage of my moment of madness....what the heck was I thinking?

Here's a link with a few pics of it.

2000 Dodge Viper GTS- powered by SmugMug

You can see how fucked up the paint is from all the tracking and abuse

For those of you afraid to run your viper on a track are really missing out on what the Viper's about. If your into waxing and keeping it a garage queen....buy a model car...it's cheaper

For those that have run on a race track you know what I'm talking about

The Viper really shines on the roadcourse...yeah, you'll need to do some extra maintenance and work switching brake pads back and forth....big deal I say.

You'll learn as you go, meet some great folks and be humbled, excited and appreciate the Viper even more. You'll also learn about yourself.

For those looking to buy a Viper...don't shy away from a car that's been tracked. Inspect the same as you wolud any other purchase. Chances are it's probably as good or better than one of those sitting, rotting, in a garage waiting for the next coat of wax.....

Use the Viper for why it was made...life's to short to do other.

Have a nice week.

I'd say the buyer flaking on you actually did you a favor. Hope you don't try such foolishness again!

I hear you. Mine was probably taken care of even better when I was routinely tracking it. Every inch of the car was looked after and taken care of.
