Well thats encouraging. My issue is the guy that im looking to purchase a car doesnt have reciepts for the work but stated i could call doug as he personally tuned the vehicle. Would just feel more comfortable with reciepts
Dougs a good guy and great shop, I've just never understood why he didn't get into turbos for the Vipers, he's installed custom setups on other vehicles.
Receipts can always be doctored. Of all the tuners Doug has been doing this longer then anyone. I currently have a 10.40 car on street tires and pump gas. Doug built this car for me when it was new and now the car has 30,000 miles on it. I have had zero problems other then maintenance. If Doug has any problem it is he is conservative right down to his tuning. He believes in longevity and builds it into every car he wrenches on. If he tuned your car then it is perfect. Doug has more Turbo cars in his shop then Supercharged cars. Since he builds conservative packages and he is very very low key you do not hear much about them. I was hanging with Doug 2 weeks ago and again all we drove were Turbo's(Viper & Murci). Yet he is still KING of the S/C's in my opinion

Doug is quality. The reason you may not hear much about him on the internet is because he is not as big a ham or chest thumper as some.
True, he has always been fairly low key, and most are surprised when they find out he doesn't just work Vipers exclusively like some think. I saw various types of cars in that shop.
He is one of the best Viper tuners and S/C installers on the planet..........

That being said... ABSOLUTELY call Doug and ask him about the car. Side story: my brother went to pick up a used Laughlin chassis a couple of years ago, and when he got there found it had been misrepresented. The guy who was selling it thumped his chest and said "If you don't believe me, call Laughlin." So my brother calls Uncle Jack at Laughlin on the spot, gives him the chassis number, and tells him everything he sees wrong with it. Uncle Jack pulls the file and confirms everything my brother saw.
Moral: Don't trust the seller, trust the guy who built it. Give Doug a call.

Doug is one of the nicest and most helpful people you will have the pleasure to know. As stated over and over he turns out great products with many repeat customers.
