Question 94 RT rear end question

Hi everyone, I have a 94 RT and am experiencing a sort of "clicking" sound from somewhere in the rear as soon as I start to engage the clutch from a stop. I was hoping it was U joints so I replaced all of those and no luck, it's still there. If I am stopped going up a hill, the take off makes it louder. It sounds too hollow or light to be coming from the pumpkin, but I can't figure out where it's coming from. Could it be the hub assemblies? Almost sounds like a bearing clicking. But everything feels tight. Could it be the gears? I am looking for anything else until I go tearing into the rear end. I am baffled. I had it up on jack stands and have someone in there with the e-brake on and going into 1st and reverse and making the noise. I was holding a bar up to my ear and trying to pin point the location of it, but not much luck. I can hear it in the pumpkin, on the half shafts, and the wheel hubs, all about the same volume. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your hubs may need to be retorqued. They have a tendency to come loose over time. They are supposed to be something like 150 lbs so get a big torque wrench with a cheater bar and make sure you have someone stand on the brake pedal when you do it to avoid breaking something in the rear end.

Take it to track with a pail of VHT on tires, that will help you find it quickly I think I should know, I just ran my car and had to replace mine cuase it was clicking on turns now and then afterewards So take it from me, you can find it quickly but no need to waste a lot of time looking so hard.

Rear hubs are supposed to be at 190 ft lbs. It's crazy, but yea... 190ft lbs.

I would probably do the VHT / Slicks thing too. Probably be cheaper in the long run, lol.
