Those big ass turbos in the nose are an awsome sight. Lee's reaction when he got the time slip made me laugh out loud, and it was well deserved. Great job to all involvled!
I talk to Lee right after he had completed the HR PGD and he told me about the 7 second pass. He was excited about this video coming out, because of them installing the video camera inside his Viper and everyone could see and experience what it is like to make a 7 second pass in a Viper, while utilizing 93 octane pump gas.
Lee does drive this Viper around on the street of his home town here in Florida. The car is VERY streetable and docile until you get into boost, then it is an animal. In fact he will be driving this Viper to our next Florida VCA meeting.
For those who do not know Lee, he is one of the most respected and professional racers you would ever meet. You could go to any event after Lee has run, his competitors will even have many nice things to say regarding him. Just an example of his sportsmanship, most when they outrun someone they stay into to beat someone with as much distance as they possibly can. Lee on the other hand, will lift once he knows he has won the race. He plays no games at the starting line, he wants to win by a race and earn people's respect by being a good example of professionalism.

Cudaman
Everything I have ever heard about Lee is extraordinarily positive. Seems like a super nice guy.
Ummmmm....... I wouldn't say this car is "REDICULOUS" but I'd consider it pretty "RIDICULOUS." But that's just me.
Very nice pass!! I wish I could find a gas station in NJ that sold "flex" fuel and I'd be the first one to build a 7 second Z06 that ran on corn chips.
has their been anyone faster then 7.99 on pump gas?
Supposedly that twin turbo Vauxhall (?) from England. At least he advertises to have gone 7.6's on pump. But he doesn't disclose what octane it was. And his website mentions water injection and some type of fuel additive.
